We got a HUGE cardboard box when we bought our patio furniture and have turned it into Casa De Remy. We cut out a door and two windows - Jesse even built in a skylight. We have spent weeks decorating it with crayons. Remy has gotten pretty good at drawing circles. Since we still have no furniture in the living room yet we haven't seen a reason to get rid of it. When we are playing chase, it seems to be safe for Rem.
So, we don't have living room furniture because we have been totally broke lately, but . . . guess what? We finally got a renter for our condo!!! YAHOO, WOOHOO, YEEHAW!!!!!!! so, hopefully in the next month or so we can get one of those fancy L-shaped couches for the living room :)
So - it still amazes me that Remy is now officially 2. I have been telling people he is almost 2 for so long it seemsweird now to just say 2 :) A week before Remy's b-day he had tubes put in to help decrease the fluid in his ears. We have noticed that he is definitely babbling more and using more words which is very exciting. He also moved into the 2 year old classroom at school. What a change! He is so dirty when he comes home from school that we are back to daily baths for the kiddo. 
We went to Colorado to celebrate Ben and Lisa's marriage and while we were there, Irene, Joe and Audrey were kind enough to throw Remy a party at their house for his b-day. It was a great weekend filled with party after party after party!
So, Remy loves Star Wars which is good and bad. We have something he will actually watch on TV so that when we need a break we get one, but he is now very proficient at turning just about anything into a blaster or light saber. We think it is funny but doesn't go over well with everyone when he starts pretend shooting other kids with an umbrella or lego. Anyway, we had a Darth Vadar cake with Darth Vadar hats for the kids at his b-day :) 
I thought this was the cutest thing to have my boys drinking a rootbeer float together. Remy loved it.
